Q: Does Capital Area Housekeeping have liability insurance?
A: Yes. We are a fully insured house cleaning company and can provide a certificate of insurance upon request.
Q: Do I need to provide the cleaning supplies or will you bring them?
A: Capital Area Housekeeping provides ALL cleaning supplies and equipment. We use all-natural cleaning supplies and our equipment meets HEPA standards.
Q: What if there is a different product I would like you to use?
A: If there is a special cleaning product, tool, or piece of equipment you'd like us to use on certain areas, we will be happy to accommodate that request when possible.
Q: What time can we expect your cleaning company?
A: Capital Area Housekeeping is available Monday thru Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. During our initial meeting we will set up a time that will be convenient for you.
Q: How many people will be cleaning my home?
A: Depending on the particular job, 1 or 2 people will be cleaning your home.
Q: Will I always have the same cleaners in my home?
A: Yes. You will become familiar with the cleaners at Capital Area Housekeeping as they become familiar with your home and preferences for cleaning.
Q: How long can I expect your cleaning company to be in my home?
A: Cleaning service takes between one and three hours, depending on the home, type of service, and size of cleaning crew. Initial and one-time cleans tend to take longer.
Q: What do I do with my indoor pets?
A: Capital Area Housekeeping is pet friendly. However, if you have an aggressive dog, we ask that you please remove him/her from the portion of the house that is to be cleaned.
Q: Do I have to be home when your cleaning company are coming to clean?
A: No. Many of our clients request that we clean their home while they are away and we are happy to accommodate that request. We look forward to meeting you and becoming familiar with your home during our initial meeting.
Q: How will you get into my home if I am not there?
A: Our customers may choose between giving us a key code, providing us with a key, or leaving a key in a designated area. Other arrangements can be made per request.
Q: What if I am not happy with the cleaning service provided?
A: Our aim is for you to be 100% satisfied with our service and we believe that you will be! But if you are not, please call us within 24 hours to discuss your service and we will be happy to re-clean any unsatisfactory areas.
Q: If I need to cancel or reschedule my service, what should I do?
A: Capital Area Housekeeping will need at least 2 business days notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Late fees may apply for lesser notice.
Q: Will you clean my apartment?
A: Absolutely! Capital Area Housekeeping provides routine cleaning services for apartments, as well as move-in and move-out services.
Q: Should I leave cleaning instructions?
A: Cleaning instructions are not needed because we will have all important information about your home noted during our initial meeting. If you have special requests or updates, please call to let us know.
